Self Actualization -- 43things has been a Joy and an Inspiration.

  • I’m finding that just by expressing myself carefully, and then crafting that expression further, I’m helping myself to clarify and hone my goals, aspiration, hopes, and values.
  • In addition, when I comment on a “plea for help”, I’m finding that I often have something that al least “feels” like it’s worthwhile to say.
  • All of this is focusing my attention towards goal-setting, accomplishment, values clarification, etc.

Out with the Old - Busch Stadium demolition

I was very sad as they started the demolition of the Busch Stadium. Senseless, in my opinion. Here are some people looking at the demolition. Generations to come will miss the opportunity to see baseball in that wonderful stadium!!!

Farewell, old friend, after only 40 years.

Frederico Mendez is one of the most prolific and experimental photographers I know. He doesn't just post things he thinks will be popular, but shots he has deeply felt as well. He takes photographers on "photo-journeys" in Brazil and who knows where else. I'd love to learn more from him. . Check out his work by clicking on the photo.

This old, rusty ship has become a thing of beauty with the masterful eye of an artist/photographer. Noticing beauty is a special art. Capturing it well takes effort, talent, and skill. Sharing the beauty with others across the globe is nothing short of a miracle.

Mr. Greenjeans is full of twists and unexpected turns. I'll bet you've never seen a photo like this before. . I'll bet he's the kind of guy who never makes a recipe the same way twice. So you had better enjoy it, 'cause you'll never taste it again!

Despite misgivings, Dorothy accepted the Nike contract.

Singinpixel is one of those free, uncharted spirits whose photography reflects the soul of a true artist. Creative, humorous, and delightful.

The light and dark are stark and very befitting the subject. Color would not do at all here. The shot has energy, waiting to explode. A beautiful capture!
